WE ARE BACK!

Well it has been 1 year since our last post, talk about slacking on the blog...anyway I don't have much to say other than it is summer time and we are in full Splashtown mode. We went twice this weekend, and I am sure will be back many, many, many more times.
Just to update anyone who is looking at this below are some pics from the past year:)

There are many more where those came from, and I promise to update within weeks instead of months or years:)

SPRING TIME IS HERE, AND SUMMER IS ON THE WAY

Travis can't wait until Summer, he keeps saying "the sun is up mommy, is it summer time? Can we go to Splashtown?"

Things have been crazy but good around here, I made it though working on Wrestlemania (the biggest show WWE does all year, and it was here in Houston a couple weeks ago), and we are getting ready to go on vacation. Allen, Travis, and I are heading to San Antonio to enjoy Sea World, the Riverwalk, and some much needed out of the house time:) Jen, my mom and Taylor and Andrew are coming as well. My mom is being gracious enough to watch the kids in the evening so the adults can enjoy some good old fashion adult out time. Everyone else is heading home on Monday, but Allen, Travis and I are going to join Brad and Karen at thier family ranch house for a couple of days, then head to my Aunt's lake house for some more R&R and celebrate our 7th Anniversary, can you believe it! Of course 7 years sounds like nothing compaired to the 13 years we have been together.

By the time we get back Splashtown will be open and Travis will be ready to hit the water park, the water is going to be freezing, but I am sure that won't keep him from going down some of the kiddo slides.

Here are a few pictures so far this Spring:

SNOW!!!!!!

I know I put these posts in out of order, but I had to step back and talk about the snow we had.

Travis had a chance to see his first snow fall,
and unlike most snow in Houston it actually stuck enough for us to have a snow ball fight.

Happy New Year!

I can't believe that it is 2009 already, and Travis is turning 3 this month. Time just flies so fast these days.
We had a great holiday season, seeing both my family and Allen's family on or before both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Santa Clause also must have thought that Travis had been a very good boy this year since he got everything he asked for:
Big Boy Bike
Cho Cho Train
Video game
And thanks to Santa accidentally dropping some gifts off at Nana's house he got much, much more!
I plan to try to keep up with my blog a little better over the next few months, it has just been crazy with the holidays, but I guess only time will tell:)

Back to School

I know this is a late update, Travis has been back to school (well Mother's Day out program) for almost 6 weeks now, but I wanted to include it some pics and info on the blog. Travis only attends school on Tuesday and Thursdays, but it really helps out with me working from home, and my mom watching him during the day for a few hours Monday, Wed, and Friday.

He is doing much better this year, I don't have to drop him off screaming, he actually wants to go and walks in by himself. He finally is starting to use his teachers name, and coming home and telling me about his new friends. Well new friend Joshua, other than that he just talks about cousin Taylor:)

Here is his first day back to school.

Travis has also really started using his imagination.

He loves to pretend to cook me dinner

Play with his army men

And build train tracks for his trains.

House update

Well the good news is that we were able to get the roof fixed before the rain we got last week. The bad news is that we still haven't been able to get the work done to fix Travis' room. The good news is that Travis has taken to sleeping in the guest room that I redecorated with alot of his stuff.

We hope to get something started on his room this week. I just hope we don't have any problems moving him back in there when the time comes.
